[TYPO3-english] Filelinks limit

Hi all,

I am using the Filelinks plugin on my page and it is reading the files from a directory. Is it possible in any way to limit the number of files the plugin shows? It now shows all .PDF files in the directory but I want to solely display the first 10.

Is this possible using some typoscript? Or should I create an extension to be able to do so?
