[TYPO3-english] CoolURI - removing parts of URL

Hi. Is it possible within CoolURI to define some rule that will transform 
URL like this:

http://mysite.com/some/long/url/path/page

into

http://mysite.com/path/page

but only if i access pages under http://mysite.com/some/long/url/path/

if i access any page at http://mysite.com/some/long/url/ or above path 
should stay as it is. So, i can't set exclude path on "some", "long" and 
"url". Thank you.
