[TYPO3-english] How do I index shortcuts?

Hello List

I am building a web site with a lot of items, all made with the same  
structure:

- item1 (shortcut to first subpage)
	- about
	- construction
	- examples
	- literature
	- links
- item2 (shortcut to first subpage)
	- about
	- construction
	- examples
	- literature
	- links
- item3 (shortcut to first subpage)
	- about
	- construction
	- ... and so on...

the problem is that 'indexed search' indexes all pages, except the  
shortcuts and when I try to search 'item2', I get crazy results before  
what I would expect (item2: about).

How can I configure 'indexed search' in order to index shortcuts, or  
at least to get what the shortcut points to as first hit?
