[TYPO3-english] Logout after navigation to insecure page

Greetings,

I've been experiencing an odd issue with IE users who are attempting to log
into the front end of our site.

The page is secure (using https_enforcer and macmade login box, both current
and running on 4.4.4) and the users do successfully log in, but when they
navigate to an 'insecure' page that is access restricted, they seem to have
been logged out. Navigating back to the login box shows that they have
indeed been logged out. Again, this only happens with Internet Explorer 7 &
8. Firefox, chrome, safari are all fine.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. My temporary solution of
getting people to use Firefox is starting to wear thin.
