[TYPO3-english] host in wfqbe credentials

hi list,

in wfqbe credentials "mydomain.com" in field host gives an error message:
"database-name at localhost not found". Instead it should connect to
database-name at mydomain.com, but it doesn't. 
However, db.mydomain.com in field host connects to
database-name at db.mydomain.com, but obviously this connection is not
working.

When on the same IP, I can get a proper connection, using mydomain.com

I wonder if this is an ADODB thing? Does anyone know a workaround for
this?
