[TYPO3-english] click enlarge -> images don't get scaled

hi,

i have a problem with image scaling. thumbnails get generated
correctly in the front end but click enlarge (with and without
lightbox) always shows the original size of the image (3000x2000) and
not the size i specified in the template.

here are my settings:

styles.content.imgtext.maxW = 480
styles.content.imgtext.maxWInText = 240
styles.content.imgtext.linkWrap.width = 700
plugin.perfectlightbox.lightBoxMaxW = 700
plugin.perfectlightbox.lightBoxMaxH = 460

what could be the reason for this? i never had this problem before.
