[TYPO3-english] redirect extension?

A user needs the ability to configure redirects.

we've been doing it for them via .htaccess.  this won't work for the user so I went to the repository to look for an extension that might do this.  I found a few that say they will allow for redirect configurations.  Two that I tried don't seem to work. The third has no documentation.

Can anyone recommend one that they know does work?
