[TYPO3-english] How to make RealURL look nice wec_staffdirectory?‏

Hi Dmitry

Please point people first to a "prepared" surrounding (before sending them
into the desert) (i.e. post a link to your blog-article which you think
would help) so that they can learn how to do it by themselves (Montessori).
This way you can get their attention polarized to a certain problem,
question, theme, interest and they will be able to learn a lot of it to
normalize their knowledge. It is not so useful to tell them that it is easy
- Motto: "Wow I can do it and you can't!" -

I can provide a solution but what would she learn from that?

Do you remember that story about the choice: to give bread or to show how to
> make bread?

The learning effect depends always on the situation. If you give somebody
who is hungry in the dessert bread you can feed him, perhaps even safe his
life and he will be able to learn afterwards. Hopefully he moves to an place
where he can grow crops - wait about six months for his food to be ready for
the oven to bake bread, if he did not starve meanwhile! Doing TYPO3 here is
very similar! This is the only reason why nearly nobody is using it here!
There is no literature which is available in their local language, the
English proficiency isn't like those of someone in the west and the way to
communicate and learn from each other is different - respect is very
important here. You could be a great teacher here! Well but we should not
site track! Your Article about Presentations is great by the way!

Hi Fon

here are some links to articles Dmitry wrote about realurl - perhaps it
helps!
http://dmitry-dulepov.com/article/realurl-made-easy-part-1.html
http://dmitry-dulepov.com/article/realurl-made-easy-part-2.html

if it isn't working or to difficult to do with realurl you could also try
cooluri and edit its xml file - it is very improved since I wrote the first
tutorial and doing same job and is in IMHO much easier to setup.
http://typo3.org/extensions/repository/view/cooluri/current/
http://docs.google.com/View?docid=dd33gg45_3f8j96p

Jan, the cooluri developer writes in his tutorial:

> If you just simply don't know, how to set transformation rules, please ask
> in the English mailing list. To make sure, I'll read your message there, put
> “cooluri” keyword into your subject.

I hope this helps

Andi
