that's the reason. With structure

foo
-- bar

and bar excluded, URL /foo would then lead to "foo" page and you 
wouldn't be able to get to /foo/bar then.

Anyway, when you'd update to latest version from forge SVN, then you'd 
get option to exclude page from pagepath without any limitations.
