Hi Andi,

use
http://www.single-signon.com/en/applications/adapter-overview.html
with the moodle adapter, perhaps you need to modify the adapter to get 
it working properly.

I use that to authenticate users againgst TYPO3BE, Mediawiki, PHPBB and 
other.
