Hi,

somewhere I saw a workaround I suppose with JS but I propose to change 
the provider.
If you're frightened or have resons not to change the provider you can 
get a new provider for real hosting and at the old provider you let 
point the domain only to the IP or a Name-Adress of the new Provider.

By the way: your proposed solution to resize the pictures doesn't solve 
the problem that dynamic sizes for different cases are produced on the 
fly - I don't know if it's possible to configure TYPO3 to use for each 
case a static picture.
