Hi Xavier,

When I was writing this mail, I had high hopes for this. Thank you and all
the others for the informative replies.

Yes, in particular the one you mean: http://bugs.typo3.org/view.php?id=12535.
Unfortunately, I have created some own patches for DBAL (most of them are
covered by your patches, and they are more elegant than mine), so that
patching with patches from bugtracker isn't that easy, but I plan to update
the whole system in some weeks. When I do this, I will report the "special"
ones on bugtracker.

I haven't the feeling that this is a bug, too. To show this, I wrote
"issues" in the subject of this mail :o)

I had the same idea, but I was afraid of implementing these changes because
I don't know the core and its behaviours so much. But I'm happy to read that
you had already began with this hard work.

I'm very interested in the progress of the DBAL extension. Surely I will
stay tuned and test all the availiable patches :o)

I will try this and report the results at Forge. Thank you for this hint.
Kind regards,
