[TYPO3-english] Indexed search - drop deleted pages from index

Hi guys,

I've set up a crawler cronjob to fill the index of indexed search. 
Everything is working fine, the only problem is that once a page is 
deleted it is not removed from the index. How do I get the 
crawler/indexed search to drop deleted pages from the index??
I've looked in every corner of the internet but I can not find anything 
on this topic.

Hope someone can help me out.
