[TYPO3-english] list of recipes

Hi,

What I'd like is to show a list of recipes on a page, which links to
the individual recipes.

I'm new with Typo3 and thought I'd need sometling like tt_news.

However, when I tried to install it, it said:

Extension: News (tt_news)
DEPENDENCY ERROR

The running TYPO3 version (4.2.6) is higher than allowed (3.8.1)
     Ignore this version requirement

The running PHP version (5.2.10) is higher than allowed (5.0.5)
     Ignore this version requirement

What to do? Ignore? (I'd hate to have bugs on the site afterwards)
Find another similar extension? Something else?
