Hy,

check the space on your server where mysql works. This can be another 
Harddisk or partition than that your webspace is saved on.

Often logfiles of mysql, php or apache become to large and the server 
strikes because it can't write anwhere, neither to logfiles nor to database.

Another reason for your error can be the locking mode, that can be 
configured by install-tool. Just chose another setting as described or 
insert 'disabled' even if it's not the best setting.
Information in the tool about the default setting is wrong (at least it 
was in version 4.26).
