[TYPO3-english] Onchange event not getting reflected on adding dropdown in TinyRTEMce

Hello,
I have included a dropdown(select box) in the TinyMCERTE as per my clients
requirement. But the onchange event attribute is not getting saved.
Can any one help me with it or does anyone has a different idea to majke a
dropdown work on TinyMCERTE
