Hi,

you can use flash,swfm flv. You only have to differ between audio and 
video (flash normally is video)

You also can use MULTIMEDIA as it's still there, it's only not in the 
list for new elements. If you want it back use this pageTS:

TCEFORM.tt_content.CType.removeItems = rte,script,splash,swfobject,qtobject
mod.wizards.newContentElement.wizardItems.special.show = 
uploads,media,multimedia,menu,html,div
