[TYPO3-english] alias shown in pagetree, but not in TSOB

hi list

in a very complicated website i use the field "alias" as an internal 
reference, because - when filled in the page properties - it is shown 
besides the uid in the pagetree, when the cursor is over the page-icon.

unfortunately this same alias is not shown in TSOB, only uid.

is there a possibility to re-configure the TSOB in order to show also 
the alias besides the uid?
