[TYPO3-english] felogin - Login error

Hello all, 

I have a login on page id 8. The login works properly however whenever a faulty username/password combination is not recognized, no error message is displayed. I did not set a template but I looked at the default template and there was no marker for an error. I tried to set the login error in the Login element but the message does not display. Any thoughts?
