[TYPO3-english] tcamanipulate dependencies/conflicts?

Hi

I often use the relatively new ext. tcamanipulate and think its great.

So far I have not had any problems, but on this one site, it does not 
work. No error messages, it just doesn't do what its suppose to.

I want to change the title field of a news record to "activity" like this:

TCA.tt_news.ctrl.title = Activity

But its still just called "news"

The problem occurs on a 4.2.6 installation
tt_news 2.5.0
newscalendar 1.0.13
mbl_newsevent 2.0.0

Any help is appreciated
