Hmm, I don't know if CoolURI makes a difference, but it shouldn't since 
it was a Core issue. At least with RealURL I don't have this problem 
anymore.

Have you cleared the CoolURI cache after upgrading to 4.2.4 (or 4.2.5 or 
4.2.6)?
