[TYPO3-english] Conditional path in CoolURI

Hi,
I run a website which uses CoolURI and offers some branches of the tree
under different domain names. Now, that works fine but I would like to
modify the URLs in the branch URLs. E.g.

http://www.example.com/server

is also offered as

http://www.server.com/

Now, that works fine but a path like

http://www.example.com/server/abc

will become

http://www.server.com/server/abc

instead of 

http://www.server.com/abc

I know that I can cut the server out via the page properties but that
would also affect the page http://www.example.com/server/abc which I
don't want. Can I somehow make this change conditional?
