Hmm, this is weird. I remember that there were changes for these CTypes, 
but not that would create such effects.

The problem would come from the "showitem" definition for types 
"textpic" and "image". What do you have in your TCA for

$TCA['tt_content']['types']['textpic']['showitem']

and

$TCA['tt_content']['types']['image']['showitem']

?
