[TYPO3-english] Hide .svn folders from display in filelist

We use Subversion for some of our extension development stuff, and  
would really like that TYPO3 would prevent hidden unix folders, such  
as .svn folders, from being displayed in the filelist. I

We found this old patch: http://bugs.typo3.org/view.php?id=5779 -  
which seemingly was meant to be incorporated in 4.2.0 - but never was.

Any tips on this issue?
