[TYPO3-english] REALURL: decodeSpURL_postProc is missing

dear all,
the realurl doc mentions decodeSpURL_postProc hook here:

the hook is missing in v 1.5.3

Is it intentional?
If so what is idea behind taking that hook out?
Are there other hooks in the core may be that would let me add logic 
before realurl kicks in?
