[TYPO3-english] simple photo gallery (photo_gals) link problem (because of using frames?)

hello everyone!

i installed the extension "photo_gals" providing an easy to use image
gallery function. i created a content object and specified the folder
where the pictures that should show up are stored.

when opening the according page, the extension seems to work pretty
well, the pictures are shown as little thumbnails on the bottom, the
first one is shown enlarged on top.

btw, i am using frames, means, there's a header, a menu and a content
frame. the picture gallery is shown in the content frame.

so far so good.

but as far as i click on one of the thumbs in order to re-open the site
in the content frame with the according picture enlarged, just the whole
site, means ALL frames, are reloaded in the content frame.

and: the enlarged picture stays the same, means, the first one of the
album, not the one i chose.

do you know of any way to solve the problem?

is the fact that there's no way to change the current enlarged picture
related to the frame reload issue?

i would be really pleased for ANY idea or helpful hint. actually i got
no idea where to further search a solution.
