If page cache is cleared and you open the pdf after that everything is 
rendered ok. But as soon as you try to open a different pdf or a 
different instance is trying to access the same pdf I get an error in 
the reader: A graphic error occured

Hmm. As no images get rendered no problem in the reader ;-)
So the answer is no!
