[TYPO3-english] Using TCE function in FE or creating pages with frontend plugin

Hey all, not sure I'm posting this the right place, but here goes.

I am trying to create some pages from a frontend plugin, and I seem to 
be stuck as to how to do it correctly.
I can easily manipulate the database directly, but that seems to spawn 
complications with access rights, ownership etc.

I've found the TCE Core API documentation, but that is only usable with 
a valid BE login.

So is there a way to utilize TCE from a frontend plugin, or a 
alternative method for creating/managing pages from frontend plugins?

Or do I just have to gather the information myself from the database, 
and construct a method for creating valid pages?
