[TYPO3-english] Template update - when does it happen?

Hello Bas.
Thank you for your comments - particularly on the nature of the "template".
I think that's where I have been looking at it wrongly.
I was using it to mean an HTML file (with markers for content areas) and I
think I was being mislead by a document which indicated that there is a
button to manually "reload" the template (I think that must have been in
Version 3). Experiment after reading your reply indicates that after an
edit of the HTML "template", it is simply necessary to flush the content
cache for the engine to see the edits.
I shall now get back to climbing the learning curve. Happily the final
result should be worth it!
