[TYPO3-english] new install trouble

Hi,

I have just installed a new typo3 site, but it does not work as I expected.

I am trying to add a new page (the first) on the backend. When 'Select a
position for the new page:' appears there are two arrows. It is strange
for me. But if I click on one of them, I get an empty page.

Trying Ext Manager from Admin tools also gives me an empty page.

And I tried to modify my settings under Admin tool/User Admin. Clicking
on the pencil (Edit), drops me to an empty page also.

I have already tried emptying caches and deleting temp_CACHED_*.
