[TYPO3-english] can't login TYPO3 4.1.9 with firefox

Hi,
Anyone accountered this yet: I try to login with firefox (3.0.5, client 
has 2.xx and the same problem)

the error is

No user logged in! Sorry, I can't proceed then!

Cookies are of course enabled and re-login gives the same result. IE 
works normally. This started after upgrading to 4.1.9.

I can login to install tool.

Tried also without success - according some old threads:

/[SYS][doNotCheckReferer] = 1/
/[FE][lockIP] = 2

Any idea what could help?
