[TYPO3-english] What is mod.xMOD_alt_doc.disableDocSelector used for?

Hi all,

While trying to update the TSconfig and its screenshots (work mostly 
done already during T3DD09), I stumbled on the following settings:

mod.xMOD_alt_doc {
   disableDocSelector = 1
   disableCacheSelector = 1
}

that seems to hide some stuff from somewhere... I have no idea what or 
where, so it's hard to refresh the related screenshot. Anyone has a clue 
where I should look?
