[TYPO3-english] extended shop - external template?

Hi
I am setting up extended shop at my site, but have a small problem.
I would like to make a minibasket, and therefore use an external 
template instead of the original template.

But when I try to link to the external template in the ext+ template 
that I've made, then the changes wont work...

It still uses the original template insted of the external template im 
pointing at.

Does anyone have a solution to this problem?
