[TYPO3-english] Multi column content menu

Hi All,

 

I'm trying to make a menu for a newsletter that has links to all the various
elements on the page (to be used by Direct Mail), and organized into a
table, so that there will be a table across the top of the page with four
columns and as many rows as needed, with the content elements distributed
across them.

 

I've been experimenting, and I can get a straight menu of the content
elements fine, but I'm not sure how to apply something like optionSplit to
form the elements into a table.
