[TYPO3-english] BE Login not possible

Thanks for all help. Finally this was it:

 * one of my admins (don't ask me why) switched the running
   group of the apache
 * the apache (especially PHP) was not able to write sessions to its
   temp directory any more
 * no log in was possible...

Changing rights on the directory solved the problem. Thus my tip:
configure typo3 to display PHP-Errors/Warnings and check if you get any,
when loggin in is not working :)
