[TYPO3-english] How to allow FE users to maintain a blog?

Hmm, that could be.

I would also like my users to be able to insert (or attach) images to 
their blog entries. I'm still too much of a n00b in T3 to know if this 
setup is even possible?

I am trying to create an environment for the users to post their stories 
with pictures and let them comment on each others entries and pictures.

May be an alternative use of other extensions will let me do this.
