[TYPO3] Getting the new version RealURL working

ok so I found realurl_autoconf.php, copied the configuration over to localconf.php cleared cache, and hard refreshed my home page, and my links for the menus still display the same:

http://www.rcbitsolutions.com/index.php?id=(page alias or id)

but if I type in a realurl, it halfway works.  For instance http://rcbitsolutions.com/solutions/home.html goes to a page with no content pieces, so everything will display, but not with my typo3 template for some reason.
