[TYPO3] content relations / tags / categorize - how to?

Hi List,

I am trying to figure out the best way to achieve content relations.

For example: the site I am working on needs to list products. Every product 
has related news, other pages, faq items, etc. It must also be able to add 
some sort of tags to it (the application of the product, e.g. indoors / 
outdoors).

Any ideas on how to do this best?

My thoughts have been:

- using keywords

- using toi_category

- using commerce (since a shop might be on the verge as well in the near 
future)
