[TYPO3-english] tt_news crop title in latest

Hello List,

I've got a problem with cropping the title in the latest view. It is 
configures in a typoscript object. I've tried the following, but without 
result:

lib.sense_news_content.displayLatest.title_stdWrap.crop = 50| ... | 1
plugin.tt_news.displayLatest.title_stdWrap.crop = 50| ... | 1

Any help to get this to work will be greatly appreciated.
