[TYPO3-english] Realurl and pages with same path/title

I can't. What does it do?

I can tell you that there is no way to resolve
http://domain.tld/my-page/ to a unique page id if two pages are
named "My page". If you have two John Smiths, how do you distinct
them without additional data? There is no way. Same here: you must
provide something unique. Otherwise resolving path to id is not
possible.
