Hi Patrik,

Unfortunately timtab does not offer this functionality.

You could look into 'news_author_rel' which would allow you to associate 
your news articles with either frontend or backend users.

However this will not generate an author menu. In order to do so I would 
suggest using the 'extraCodesProcessor' hook provided by tt_news to 
create your self a new 'AUTHOR_MENU' menu.
