[TYPO3-english] modifying FE_USER Registration form

I understand that there is a way to modify the FE_USER registration  
form to add additional fields/questions. I've read the tutorial in the  
fe_user reg docs and we have successfully been able to get additional  
questions into the FE_USER reg.

However, we need a different way and so I'm wondering if there is some  
other option I've not yet seen.

The problem is we need an interface similar to how questions for   
survey are added/created - through flex-form.  We need to be able to  
offer this flex-form to the site owners that do not have Typo3  
experience (certainly no quickstarter experience).

Anyone out there have any ideas or clues?
