[TYPO3-english] pagebrowse (Universal Page Browser)

Hi there,
how can i set up this extension? In my site the pagebrowser doesnt apear.
I used templa voila: 

lib.pageBrowser < tx_pagebrowse_pi1 

so that the browser should apear an every page, but nothing happens.

Ill tryed it also to include a plugin, but in typo comes this message: "Data Structure ERROR: Line 1: Empty document".

pagebrowse 1.0.1

What iam doing wrong?
