[TYPO3-english] felogin and showPermaLogin

Whether I set showPermaLogin in flexform or in TS, no checkbox shows up. Is 
this a bug, or do I have to do something else?

It seems quite simple - if in flexform I check 'Show "Forgot password?" 
link:' then indeed the link shows.

But if I check 'Show "Stay logged in" checkbox (if switched on for the 
installation):' then it has no effect, even after clearing cache.

Also tried

plugin.tx_felogin_pi1 {
 showPermaLogin = 1
}

Any thoughts?
