[TYPO3] Is it possible to change the img tag?

Let me know if you want easy solution, and very correct one.

One thing that you do is, create FCE, map this:
<div style="background-image:url(typo3temp/pics/af05f9bade.gif)"></div>

At "style" attribute and choose Plain Input Field type, and insert the 
styling manually, for example: 
"background-image:url(fileadmin/backgrounds/1.png)"
