[TYPO3] difference between Insert Link in RTE and Link Field in FCE

Hallo everybody
 
I installed a extenstion which add a new label to the page "RTE LINK",which will be used by inserting a link in RTE. It works fine. But when I use a Link Field in FCE the new label doesnot display. Is there any difference between these two page? Thanks very much.
