[TYPO3] tt_news singleview and language switch

hi @all

I have a question concerning tt_news -> singleview -> languageswitch.

the site is made up with TV and the one-tree-multilanguage-concept.
I got the ext tt_news up and running and it displays only the language  
related news in list view. so far so good.
when I switch to single view and then hit the langmenu to change into  
a different language, there is 2 different behaviors:

a) the news is translated -> everything works fine
b) the news doesn't exist in the selected language, then I get the  
message "no news_id given".

in the tt_news locallang.xml I found the following label -> <label  
index="noTranslMsg">Sorry, there is no translation for this news- 
article.</label>
this sounds to me as if I miss a config/setting where the  
"noTranslMsg" is displayed instead of "no news_id given".

anbody to put me on the right path?
