[TYPO3] TV: How to create different page templates

Hello,

I have a page template containing the layoutgrid. It has three content zones. All pages of my site use this template. However I need to provide page templates with different content inside these zones.

Which is the best way to do this?

With different TOs for the same DS I'm not able to give them individual TypoScript to select content for the zones.

Creating a new DS/TO pair for each individual layout creates a lot of overhead as the basic structure is the same on all pages.
