[TYPO3] Multiple domain setup using coolUri

Hello,

I've followed this tutorial

To set up multiple sites.
I have two sites on the root level. Each having a root template and a domain record.
CoolUri is setup as in the tutorial.

The Domain record is setup as follows:

Domain: mydomain.test
Redirect to: http://test/myDomain/

the virtual hosts are setup correctly. However the redirect to /myDomain/ fails and returns a 404.
If I set
Redirect to: http://test/?id=3
it works as 3 is the id of the second rootpage.

I retried the tutorial three times but somehow can't find the problem.
