[TYPO3] query string variables

Hi All,

I need to pass and test a variable from a query string (the variable  
is related to tt_news [article id]).

Query String:
/index.php?tx_ttnews[tt_news]=11

config.linkVars = tx_ttnews:tt_news

to continue to pass it?

[globalVar = GP:tx_ttnews:tt_news = 11]

to test it?
